Computer Won't Turn On

It is normally not a software problems. You have to open the case and start hardware diagnosis process.

Steps:
1. Remove non-essential system components, includes:
PCI/PCI Express Cards/ISA, modems, network cable, sounds card, any additional interface cards and your video card if you have onboard graphic card. For hard disks and CD-ROM you only remove the power cable.

2. Try to on the power again and notice if there power light on your mainboard. If you have slight of power but still won't boot, there is a possibilities either your power supply or the mainboard is the faulty. If the power supply is the problem then don't waste your time and change the new one. This is to prevent the possibilities of high power voltages that still stored inside the power supply to damage your entire system.

3. If you find that there is nothing wrong with your power supply and mainboard then you start the laborious process of testing each component individually. Start with video or graphic card then move on to additional components until you find the error.
