MAC adress is a short form of 'Media Access Control' address. MAC is a unique identification assigned to network adapters/cards. MAC address is also called as Ethernet Hardware Address or adapter address. It is to uniquely identify your computer in a network environment.
How to Find It?
First, open a command prompt (cmd), Click your start button and then type 'cmd' in the search bar.
In the cmd windows type 'getmac' as shown below
Note: this command works with Win 7 and Windows Vista
